yeah I just popped my head round the door and said "I like this track, you should sign them on my recomendation". The job was as a talent scout. They said that if I'd had a driving licence I'd have got it too, but then a few weeks later I was chatting to someone who's mate worked for them for a bit and apparently they're shits to work for (or were at least) so it was probz for the best.

everything you do is a balloon is most definitely one of my favourite boards of canada tracks, i always find it odd that they chose to release it on hi scores, this being my least favourite release of theirs...anyhow, i think this, kid for today and amo bishop roden are my most personal songs of boards of canada...quite simply beautiful.

To my opinion that fragment of EYDIAB in Morvern Callar marks a turning point in the protagonist's life. It's as if the whole movie spins around the few seconds that EYDIAB (suicide song) is being played on her walkman.

I recommend watching the movie for those who haven't seen it yet and the above mentioned sounds a bit enigmatic.

I watched this movie a couple of years ago and have to admit that I don't know much about the story anymore, all I know is the killer soundtrack and the pretty harsh/dark atmosphere it has. The movie was hard to get when it was released so I remember watching a crappy copy on my PC. So it's time to watch it again on a decent home theatre system!
