It's a bloody masterpiece. Even Clark's melodies are amazing this time around - the little BoCesque vignettes at the end of some songs are wonderful, and yeah. 'Absence' is fucking beautiful. Very Bibio.

Rainbow Voodoo is absolutely crazy. I LOVE it.

Best Clark to date, one of the best IDM albums for ages.

Anyone care to post all the lyrics here?

Clark is my new hero.

I remember when I couldn't listen to him because he hurt my ears. Maybe I've listened to him enough that I've lost a good chunk of hearing in order to make it tolerable.

But damn, just top notch through all releases.

His sound still is very full but it seems like he managed to keep the compression to a decent level. That is partly the reason that I do enjoy this release a lot more than Turning Dragon.

got the album today, really enjoying it

has the sinister/playful feel of the prisoner with patrick mcgoohan

at least that is what I am reminded of, probs unrelated :)

beats are fly, synths are killer

Will have to listen to this again I suppose.

Clark's not quite repeated his peak of Empty the Bones of You, IMO.

A lot of his melodies strike me as following the same formula...it's an interesting one, but grows repetative after a while.

the last track is very affecting, consistently engaging

still think herzog is one of the greatest things in music

Haven't listened to this one yet, but in the meantime I'm listening to Body Riddle all the way through.
Oh man I can't wait until after work!

Ok wow.
Saying "It's no Body Riddle" is not even fair. I'd say they're equally good albums.
I may even like this one more, but I'll have to listen a few more times to let the novelty of it's newness wear off.

'Rainbow Voodoo' immediately reminds me of Turning Dragon, but picks up a little more of a tribal thing. I love the vocal style.

And 'Talis' is just fantastic. Easily my favorite track on the album. Clark really is winning me over big time.

i can see why that would be an unfair statement. but i wasnt too crazy about turning dragon. and i like this one quite a bit. but not as much as body riddle....

Heh, Sorry, that wasn't direct at you - that was my reaction to just having finally listened to the new album, and remembering several posts of people saying BR was better.
