yeah, i heard when you play the grooves backwards it gives you a phone number you can call which gives you an email address where you send a picture of ur address (must be in png format but saved as a betamax format) and they send you a stuffed teddy bear, inside of which "some" of them sent out there is an SD card with snippets of the new album......

So much amazing stuff on there... Seven Forty Seven is just the icing on the cake.
No new Aphex though :(

Just one song, and not completely unheard... oh well :?

As you said, if only there was a BoC recreation, the whole thing would have been more exciting...

Nice tracklist overall though. Specially Bibio's take on Kaini Industries. And also Autechre, Clark, Plaid and Broadcast new material!!

Very happy to see the final tracklist (the day after I hit "add to cart"). Can't say I'm disappointed in the least.

...and new Boards should be coming soon anyhow, as mentioned several times already.

Looks like a good tracklist. I'm a little sad there isn't a completely new song, but the 747 clip is really cool. You can hear it here: http://www.atomless.com/projects/boc/site/ for those that don't know.

Also it's the lengthiest official boc track to date! That's exciting to me. I really like long tracks, especially if they are interesting and great. (I just don't hope they pull off a second farewell fire. I want a full 8:36 track without a lengthy almost meaningless fadeout.)

The only other one that tops this one in lenght is xyz, but that's an unofficial one.

Boards of Canada - xyz (9:30)
Boards of Canada - seven forty seven (8:36)
Boards of Canada - farewell fire (8:26)
Boards of Canada - happy cycling (7:56)

Looking forward to this coming through the post!
I don't think I've even heard the Seven Forty Seven clip (I can't find much mention of it either). The Seefeel cover of a Maximo Park song will certainly be interesting, too.

Does one absorb the musical talents of the person one marries? Like Rogue in X-Men? :P

Is that deliberate attempt a belittling Mira Calix or accidental?

That was the promotional website for Geogaddi I believe. It was on boardsofcanada.com when Geogaddi was released. It is really cool. I especially like the trails, 747 and amo bishop roden segments.
