This is something I miss. It was really great here for awhile. Tons of zany programs and even responses to zany programs. Now nothing. What the F-balls happened to Anchorage public access?

There was one of a guy and his cat for 45 minutes that was amazing. They just stopped or something. I'm going to write a letter right after this.
the public access isnt the same as it used to be...but you can still find some gems every now and again. i remeber how nutty some of the shows used to be. basically if you could afford the air time you could be on P.A.
Its free here, or was. All you needed was a 3/4 tape with all the audio mixed to the left channel.

edit : I did a 30 minute long public access show once called "shocking baby" which was a 1 minute loop set to Herb Alpert music, of an infant with a horrible disease that makes it look like a mummy, somewhere in India. Its eyes swelled with blood and popped out of its skull when near milk. Looking back I am somewhat ashamed.

Nothing really. I've heard The Wire is good though, and it always seems to be on BBC Two at 11pm. Might give it a try.
