Long hair is fun when you're in school or when it doesn't matter that your appearance is against the "norm". It used to bug me because it would get all in my shirt and jacket collars instead of falling straight down. You really can't beat a low maintenance short clip though, one less thing to worry or care about during the day.

Keep the long hair. I had cut mine once, and I very much regretted it! if it's really bothering you, wait a couple of weeks, if it's still bothering you, get a trim and wait another couple of weeks. If it's still bothering you after that, well, it's your decision.
