Drukqs for me, even though I really hated it for the first year I owned it...
The frenetic drill tracks offset by meandering prepared piano compositions seemed really unfocused to me at first. I think my tastes had to mature before I could properly appreciate the sonic marvels to be had...
Richard is totally uncompromising on this record and it demands a lot of repeated listens to fully appreciate I would say. Still, after all the grade-A electronica I've heard over the years I have never heard anything that matches Drukqs in terms of perfectly balancing compositional genius with dizzyingly complex yet aurally coherant programming; I feel it's like listening to fractal imagery!
That, to me, is why Richard D. James is so special... Where artists like Richard Devine (and, to a lesser extent, Autechre) tend to make music that is astounding from a more didactic, technical standpoint heavily referencing the technology used to produce it, Richard D. James does two-fold; electronically producing music that conveys itself emotionally as well as technically in equal part.

SAW8592 was what got me into aphex twin and is to this day the best. Ptolemy Still Gives me shivers up the spine and ageispolis is too good

Well...I know it's only a single, but...
COME TO DADDY
The title track is of course a classic, and the next song, 'Flim' is my favorite song of his. The contract between having your face melted to the shiny IDM in track 2 is great. The fourth track is excellent as well (Bucephalus Bouncing Ball), especially with headphones.
That just leaves the remix, which isn't that great, but that's not RDJ's fault.
Overall, the best representation of his styles and some dang good tunes for Aphex Twin, for me.
