Here's hoping it's MASK100%
yeah i could see them releasing some tribal like stuff, that would be sweet!Chuck Beckles wrote:I really do think it'll have a world music influence though because the WHY? remix had quite a bit of that going on. Sounded pretty excellent too.

Raw meaning, not over produced, not mastered, meaning one take on most songs, ect.turquoisey wrote:polar sky wrote:Fuck having Old Tunes remastered! It sounds great just the way it is! All grainy and old. RAW. That's what I like about it.
well, maybe they would make it even more raw.
This was a concept behind Headphasers was it not? That it may sound like a mysterious cassette mix found on the dashboard of a Datsun 280z? This is almost state of these Old Tapes dubs. It would be kinda ironic to demand masters, considering the Boards project (as I understand it).polar sky wrote:Raw meaning, not over produced, not mastered, meaning one take on most songs, ect.turquoisey wrote:polar sky wrote:Fuck having Old Tunes remastered! I couldn't really understand what you wrote. All I was saying is that The Old Tunes tapes are called Old Tunes for a reason, cause it is early BoC. Now, it has an "Old Sound" it sounds badly dubbed on most songs, which I like. I myself would not want them to remaster their old music because it's sounds great the way it is, I do not need an overproduced version of them. Just like those new Beatles remasters that just came out, they sound like shit, I hate em.dave_from_2001 wrote:This was a concept behind Headphasers was it not?
