Hi everyone... I'm a newbie here at twoism but I've been a BoC fan for about 10 years now.

The awesome compilation you guys have done with the One on Twoism series has really inspired me when designing... which is why I've decided to take on this pro-bono project very seriously since this is the exact kind of music I've been waiting for ever since BoC's Trans Canada Highway release...

My style of artwork is very abstract and thought it would be appropriate for this album cover since every time I listen to BoC or One on Twoism I feel as if I'm in a vast space of nothingless (it's hard to describe what I feel, but it's an awesome feeling).

Anyway, hope you guys like this cover I made.

Hi and welcome to Twoism.

Your design is quite simple, yet elegant. Very nice.

I like how the artwork-designs change throughout this topic. Going to be a tough decision in the end i think :)

networkosaka's is my favorite in terms of looks alone, but in terms of art being representative of this project my favorite is s7409651's entry. i think it does a good job of conveying a hand-made and eclectic feel that accompanies the music instead of just falling into the trappings of "boc-inspired music", which this compilation doesn't represent in my opinion.

Cheers everyone for digging the artwork :)

@Borealnetwork: I'm a big fan of your music, so thank you so much for your comment!
I don't think I was trying to represent BoC as the main element. It's the music that made me compose the artwork that way. I refrained from using vintage images as BoC album covers are usually within that style (see Music has the right to Children, Geogaddi - with its vintage looking, documentary inspired, hexagonal kaleidoscope, and Transcanada Highway - stylized after a vintage Dodge user manual)... therefore, I tried to take on a modern and simple look to a style of music that feels surreal and serene.

In any case, I really appreciate the comments!

Don't worry, your motivation absolutely shone through :) I realize my comment about "the trappings of BoC-inspired music" was juxtaposed a little close to my remarks about favorites-so-far, but I actually didn't mean to imply that your design fell into those trappings; it doesn't at all. Like Joebot said, if anything it reminds me of OPN, in a very good way.
