I'm basing this off my fuzzy memory, but I recall it being someone at Warp who ran it, not MDG. Either way, I want a new BoC album as much as anyone. As i remember - in their live performances they played their future material from the geogaddi exactly in 2000es. Maybe some of their unknown material will be in a new album?

That's great! Any news is news to me! I think it has to do with either the finalisation of their forthcoming album (mastering or track selection) OR jamming for future records to be released after the ones coming in 2010. Either way it's great news. I think they went on holiday and just returned to their music production hideout.
And yes that myspace site is an official site, but not since the very beginning. They've taken over the account which was initially created by a fan. Read the statements page @ bocpages.

I've heard a few people use the term "going into the studio" when an album is done. Or it could mean "We've finished one album, taken a break and we are going back into the studio." Bands tend to be at least a few months ahead of their releases.

I didn't know they had changed their status to 'To make recordings' in September 2009!
