I like all those songs/artists, probably why I like VHS Head. The Voice of Reason wrote:Not an untrodden path
Can't believe you don't hear similarities in this stuff. Not as detailed, but same production style.
So by this reasoning, if the BoC brothers were to have a side project under an assumed name, it would sound exactly like their material under the BoC name? That makes no sense. I'm sure they are more than capable of coming up with an entirely new sound, were they inclined to do so.The Voice of Reason wrote: BOC is nothing like VHS Head's approach. BOC, sure, have some samples from old movies, but who doesn't. VHS Head structures his entire tune from samples. BOC use choice samples to enhance or add mysticism to tracks.
Hey, if you open all of those tracks in youtube at the same time, it sounds like VHS head! The Voice of Reason wrote:Not an untrodden path

Well Hell Interface is a BOC side project yes? Sounds kind of the same. And their old MBV style stuff is different, yet the note progressions they used are, well, the same.ryetronics wrote:So by this reasoning, if the BoC brothers were to have a side project under an assumed name, it would sound exactly like their material under the BoC name? With that said, I doubt VHS Head are related to them.
I bet their names are written so prominently because of all the speculation. Did they put their names on the Video Club EP?Zykial wrote:its Adian Blacow, his brother Kris (White Mask) did the logo

no, but who wouldn't have their name on their debut album on vinyl on a label like Skam? The Friendly Stranger wrote:I bet their names are written so prominently because of all the speculation. I hope I still get the incorrect pressing, just so I can have something to hang on to.Due to a pressing plant error, we have had to recall all Vinyl copies back from distributors.
They arrived on Friday and were shipped immediately to distributors, and Skamshop customers,
the error only became apparent on Friday evening.
Your account has just been refunded for the whole amount.
We know ask that you destroy your copy (we know you won’t do this and can understand completely).
In which case, hopefully you will consider reordering the correct version when it becomes available, but again you are not obliged to do this.
Please accept our sincere apologies. We are working towards a repress as soon as possible.
Many thanks,
Skam Records
