that made my day. i watched those "classic" videos for a while, really brought me back to my childhood growing up in a crappy dump of a city. it also totally made appreciate the color of the fire a lot more. i always just sort of glossed over it when it came on. it's also not really as creepy to me now any more.

I tell you what really creeps me out... those damned Pointer Sisters and their creepy Sesame Street Counting Song... the lyrics... it's almost like they're singing AND counting at the same time... shiver me timbers... just when I thought I had mastered numbers...

Thanks, I was wondering what the original post was talking about. They do sound strangely familiar to each other.

Perhaps the admins could find a way to actually merge threads (move the new posts into the old thread)? Just locking them is very jarring and tends to completely kill discussion.
