Has anyone else listened to the first 30 seconds of "a is to b as b is to c" in reverse? (Which would then make it then the last part of the song). Agreed. The melody is pretty cool. "b is to a"?

Totally. This is the main attraction of the reversed version if you ask me. I often play this track right after the standard verision when listening to Geogaddi all the way through. But the rest kicks ass as well. I, like many folks, found this track by my own luck, I just wish I knew how to reverse tracks on my own.

I'm on mac and used some shareware called Amadeus for MP3 editing. There's other software I use to make loops and extend short songs into longer ones, too.

They also have mp3 editing software for Windows platforms, but I'm unfamiliar with which ones have the ability to reverse tracks.

Yeah, I really dig the minimalistic approach to Over the Horizon Radar... would you guys say the 1st track from their live show at All Tomorrows Parties was an extended version of this? It's over 6 minutes, and has the same keyboard movements. I could listen to it for hours (minus the guy wanting the camcorder switched off)...

I would have loved to see the visuals at the show.

Over The Horizon Radar is one of the saddest, most beautiful songs ever created. It seems the majority of us here agree that this is Boc at their best.

I never really thought it was similar to the A.T.P. track which has more bass and slightly different synths. But now that I think of it, yes they are similar. I always thought Over The Horizon Radar sounded more like Trails.

by the way, there's is a really nice remix of zoetrope. it's made by a guy called nathan fake (http://www.nathanfake.co.uk/) and it has a bit more epic feel to it. doesnt beat the original but it's worth a listen, or ten.

there are rips when he played it on his proton radio set 01.28.04, it usually goes under the name
"boards of canada - zoetrope (nathan' s version)"
