When does mixing change into sampling? In the end it is an ongoing mix of songs which are audible for seconds and sometimes for half a minute, if not longer. It is just like going through a trip with lots of songs. You see, it's difficult to even set the boundaries to begin with.

there's a dfference between doing a mix and taking small parts of songs and altering them with other small aprts of songs to turn them into a whole new songs which is what basically is girl talk doing. even if the source samples are still purposely recognisable.
