here it is, yo!

EDIT: it seems this is the same as the one played on the original broadcast of Peel Sessions, but the one on YouTube has most of the intro cut out.

EDIT 2: and it's not as bad as i'd remembered it. i quite like the outro even if it is abrupt to end.
dp, can us latecomers have the password to this, please? I'd love to hear bad day with the intro.
Thanks!

IanRedpoint wrote:Well, if that's a bad BoC track then we may as well all give up making music right now! I love the extra eeriness to it and I'd say it's certainly no worse than the more commonly available mixes. Shame about the abrupt ending though...

Man, there's no "bad" BoC tracks.

There some "meh" BoC tracks, like moment of clarity or whatever, that don't have much thought (or volume) attached to them...no really bad BoC tracks though.

At least IMO.

I'll be honest with you guys, one of my least favorite BoC tracks is "Open The Light." I just do not like it. At all. At. ALL.

Open the light is beautiful man, come on :P works so well towards the end of the album so maybe it's more enjoyable in the context of the album?

I think it's the chord progression or something about the harmony. Of all BoC's official discography, it's my least favorite track. I like "Olson" much more.

P.S.: I say BoC's "official" discography, because I could probably find some little 50-second Old Tunes tracks filled with nothing but samples or a really simple synth melody that I care even less for than Open the Light.

I like your avatar, Tetra. Is it from anything BoC have done?

Thanks, dp. I'd been looking for this.

I love gloomy, dark ambiance, so in my opinion, no.
