Nice idea of putting some vocals and acoustic instruments...but it's definately not for me )

Well, from what I've heard I think Clark has been a bit hit and miss for me personally, but Com Touch is fantastic.

While the other tracks have not stood out as much on first listen, I have to say I quite like the overall aesthetic going on here.

Really into this on a first listen. Maybe nothing as jaw-droppingly great as Herzog on there but overall a far more consistent and interesting album and (new) sound. Shades of Bibio to some of it too. No bad thing.

I'm currently trying to get into this album, though its pretty difficult. 'Com Touch' completely misled me to the style of the album so I'm still trying to figure out if I really dig it or not. It's very acoustic and experimental.

I can say for sure that 'Tooth Moves' is a really solid track.

Did anyone catch that livestream 'Iradelphic Workshop'/synth jam at Warprecords ?
Pretty dissapointing to be honest.
Best moments were when he pushed play on his laptop.
Just proved that it doesn't matter how much equipment he has to improvise, the great music apparently comes from editing it all on computer (i assume).

Right now I think my favorite track is "Open" with "Secret" in second. "Broken Kite Footage" is nice to put on a loop for a while too.

Aye - almost like a dose of something from mid-1980s Ceefax (yeah, that's a GOOD thing!) - particularly that wild solo synth.

The Pining pt1-3 so far are my favs.

it is a fine album, but there are a few tracks that I just couldn't identify with. ghosted is one of them, I don't know how that fits into the context of the album. also, open... I don't understand why the lyrics just keep repeating. other than that, tooth moves, com touch and pining pt 2 are just excellent.

Review will be up sometime next week. The last five tracks are absolute bliss.

I have no idea why, but this album is really working for me. Warp's best release since Ambivalence Avenue. I keep hearing tiny echoes of things I love in it - Broadcast, Portishead's Third as well as the Bibio acoustic guitar thing.

Extra points for the vinyl being a single disc too. Makes for a far more involving listen.

I really like this album as well, I liked Totems Flare but this does the trick way better for me. Loved it from the first listen.

I agree, I can hear the influence of Bibio(distorted accoustic guitar). we heard signs of this on Body Riddle but little to none on Turning dragon and Totems flare. Ide say that Iradelphic mixes the sound of the Ted EP with the more recent style of Totems Flare.
