Got my slab of vinyl in the post this morning.

As a longtime Burial fan I can say without hesitation that this is his best work yet. I think with every release he gets better. The next album is going to be a masterwork. This guy is going to go down in history as one of the greats.

Eh, it's ok.

My problem is the same as with Cupz, Burial's each track is just basically a copy of another of his tracks, it's way too formulaic. I don't think he has progressed at all since his 2006 S/T album.

Amazing EP. Is it true that he makes all his tracks on SoundForge? That's impressive…
Anyway, I bought the EP digitally on Bleep and I don't regret it at all. "Ashtray Wasp" is almost as good as "Moth" (my favorite Burial track) imo. Love it when he adds some house samples in there.
He must have a lot of pressure for the next album!

This EP is getting crazy high rated reviews and attention everywhere! I hope indeed, that he keeps his head cool and doesn't feel any big pressure for any possible future releases.

It's also not his thing to be in the publicity..... quite BOC-ish :wink:

haha. i was referring to Street Halo! shoulda been more clear about that.
