I've been listening to you music every spare moment this weekend and I really love it! The album you did with Bearhead is incredible! I will keep my eyes on you from now on
Cool, I'll definitely upload some stuff soon. Thanks for the comments!Syberia wrote:I will dig through all you music and I would be happy to listen to you old music too so please upload
I'm listening to Old and Lost Tapes Vol. 5 now and I really like what I hear! Very nostalgic. Thanks!
Thanks man. Yeah whenever I finish something new I always give it a listen and create some kind of art to go with it. I kinda stole that idea from Devendra Banhart lol.bearhead wrote:The artwork is trippy as hell.
Nice one, man. I really like Devendra Banhart's stuff.TaoTapeTao wrote:Cool, I'll definitely upload some stuff soon. Thanks for the comments!Syberia wrote:I will dig through all you music and I would be happy to listen to you old music too so please upload

As you very well should be. This is twoism, and you are making music that is exactly the sort of thing that many people here would appreciate. The more self-promotion the better, in this case!TaoTapeTao wrote:Bump. I tend to return to my cds too much but once again I'm proud of this.
Really digging this one, man. I love the texture of the guitar at the end. Really warbly and crunchy.
You could do another Yugen-length record of 'B-sides and outtakes', perhaps. I would certainly download it. Frankly, your music doesn't really need anything cohesive holding it together - I tend to just look at your records as a collection of somewhat disorganized eclectic short gems.TaoTapeTao wrote:I have plenty of material I could upload to my bandcamp but it's all very old and eclectic.. perhaps I could put some of it up in the meantime.
Very nice, as usual.TaoTapeTao wrote:Last time I shall bump this before new material... come winter when I'm away from college shenanigans there will be some serious new music.
here's a sample of what's to come...

Yeah I'll try to upload some stuff in the near future. There's a ton of old old stuff and random tunes. If you haven't you can check out all of the old and lost tapes.. that's various material that's been recorded over the years which is up on my bandcamp.pianoforte wrote:You could do another Yugen-length record of 'B-sides and outtakes', perhaps. Thanks. And hahaha that's awesome- yeah later on I realized where the sample was from, I had originally recorded it from a scene in 12 monkeys where they're watching the Hitchcock film in a theatre.pianoforte wrote:Very nice, as usual.TaoTapeTao wrote:Last time I shall bump this before new material... come winter when I'm away from college shenanigans there will be some serious new music.

p.s. That reminds me: I was watching the Alfred Hitchcock film "Vertigo" yesterday evening, and when Grace Kelly said the bit about "Dying is only a moment for you" I immediately thought, "HOLY SHIT! TAPE SOUNDS SAMPLE!"
