My brother was at the Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston, TX yesterday and said he heard Dayvan Cowboy on a kiosk explaining an exhibit.

well, ive never heard boards of canada anywhere, unless i was playing it.

ive never seen a boards of canada advertisement, billboard, commerical, bumper sticker, or anything, not even a person wearing a shirt of their's, nothing.

funny cause i can say that about all of my favorite bands.

The only place I've ever heard them is in Adult Swim bumps, which was also how I got into them, and the only time I've ever seen someone wearing a BoC shirt is when I look in the mirror.

My sister has said she heard them on the radio before though.

Yesterday was a BoC day for me.

I was listening to the radio, a programme about this French résistant called Raymond Aubrac and I just heard Hi Scores played in the background. (you can hear it here :

then click on "le petit entretien" on the top right corner). It made my day but it wasn't over yet.

I went to the Interpol gig last night in Paris, it was at the Zénith which is a pretty big hall (6000 people). I just came in the hall and what did I instantly recognize? Amo Bishop Roden, which was played while people were waiting. Nobody seemed to care. I did.

I just love when this happens!

I heard Dayvan Cowboy in the background of a little interlude to a radio show about experimental music late at night after work a week or so ago

I was at a restaurant in Los Angeles a while ago that was playing a couple of tracks off Geogaddi. It was very, very strange. It was a nicer restaurant (my girlfriend's mom has $$) and I seriously doubted anyone there new BoC. Either way, it was nice to have some good tunes to listen to while I ate.

I've also heard BoC a few times on NPR and KPBS (san diego public television).

Yeah NPR's RadioLab used a few excerpts of BoC.

I heard something from MHTRTC at a Starbucks across from the American Embassy in Berlin in December. Didn't know how to feel about it.

I went to get lunch just now, and at a cafe in San Francisco, Julie and Candy started to play. I had to stay for the length of the song even though I had received my food already.

I play BoC so much while driving that when I hear it outside of that, I don't recognize it at first. When I was on the laptop and Adult Swim had a 15-second commercial with "Under The Coke Sign" playing, it took me a few seconds where I was like "...Is that fucking BoC?"

They played it on a radio station my boss was listening to at work once. But it was "Dayvan Cowboy", not like it was "Sequoia" or anything.

The first time I ever heard boc in a Dutch tv programme just happened. It's a programme about lover boys. You can hear 'telephasic workshop' in the beginning and 'open the light' at 3.40.

I'm guessing that this has already been posted but there it is anyway
