We outlived WATMM. :}
Did Twoism ever have beef against WATMM? I'm curious to know all the stories and rumors of WATMM now that it's gone.

I remember being in their Discord server sometime back in 2018 or 2019. All I can say is.. uh... Joyrex had some.. choice of words when arguing with one of their detractors. I can pull up the receipts if anyone is interested. Should have the screenshots on a drive of mine.
this thread is full of shenanigans.

If you're gonna tempt us with receipts, you might just as well post them.
Having said that, does this beef even matter? WATMM is on the way out and Twoisim is still hobbling along until something official is announced, and then it will go wild again.

I know this sounds corny but, having gone through all my drives from 2020 I can't seem to find them. I can only presume the back up that has the screenshots are on one of the two drives I have that are no longer working. Oh well. :0

I wonder if all the old WATMM users will migrate to different communities like the AFX subreddit. Is Twoism really the longest lasting online space for an IDM artist?

Not releasing their early stuff for a wider audience.

The worst thing BOC have ever done is showcase music and music projects (e.g. early unpublished albums) that they don’t have any apparent interest in releasing (or rereleasing). I genuinely wonder how much different BoC’s legacy would be if their unreleased and/or leaked material never had any proof of existence at all. Would it result in fans not being as ravenous at the idea of unreleased content?

I think the magic of the Old Tunes comps is likely what's driving interest in those mythical early releases. It's essentially solid proof that their 'unreleased' or rare material is every bit as good as the official works (albeit in its own charming way) which justifies the thirst for Acid Memories, Hooper Bay, etc.

If we never got Old Tunes, there would of course still be a curiosity, but I think most people would assume the earlier stuff had never got a proper release because it simply wasn't up to standard.

Not releasing more EP's! Self contained ones like Hi-Scores and Twoism especially. I view IABPOITC and TCH as little detours and extensions of Geogaddi and Headphase.

That on streaming there is a quarter-second gap between the end of Bocuma and the start of Roygbiv, and that it's been there for ages and hasn't been fixed.
