It's the same date as last contact with Pioneer 11 and it's also a Friday....

definitely this or April 5 2023 - 50 year anniversary of Pioneer 11 launch. 15 days later is 25th anniversary to MHTRTC.

I don’t think the pioneer plaque bears any significance (at least as far as date release) anymore. It was just a neat picture they chose for their banner.

if we know anything about the boys it’s that they usually don’t do things randomly, everything ends up having a reason

Not getting my hopes up for anything soon. (Self preservation technique.) For all we know the album could still be in the early stages of development, years away from release.

Still, will be so nice to hear an official master of the Thrift Store tape music!!!

I love this but you missed the pun of "there are Scotsmen waiting in the sky" haha

As for when this album is dropping, Mr. MDG could come on and clarify himself but I think he's got an aversion to posting publically because deadlines could change, like they did for TH.

Let's simply hope that "on its way" means it's in the process of being shipped out soon"
