I think mdg's babylulu message was the antithesis of my downward spiral into exhaustion. Now that we know something is coming, the sparse activity from the bros is slightly less exciting to me. I just want new music, old music, something visual, or mixtapes of other people's music. Hell, I'd even take another Neverman remix.

I'm not going to beg them to release stuff, but it is such a shame the greatest band in the world is taking their sweet ass time to provide the public with beautiful audio and visual experiences.

Yeah I don't get the point of the memery. At first I was like, it's happening, but now I'm simply confused. Everytime we feel we are turning a corner it goes back to the status quo.

But on the other hand, the waiting game is definitely something that keeps me going. It'll be bittersweet once they finally resurface, perhaps for the last time.

fredd-e noticed that the Featured Channels on the Boards of Canada YouTube channel have been removed. Which lead me to check if anyone else had noticed.

Unfortunately, we don't know when exactly they were removed. We're pretty sure they were still there on the 22nd, when all the other stuff was removed, but we can't be certain because no one ever screenshotted that page on that day.

Using the Wayback Machine, the best we can do is see that they were there on 2022-08-01


and according to niski, of the TMW discord server, they were already gone on 2022-11-27


and today, 2022-11-30, they are still missing


It's likely they were removed at the same time as everything else was, on 2022-11-22, and no one noticed.

If someone here could prove they were there any time after 2022-08-01, that would be very helpful.

It's also noteworthy to mention the Hell Interface channel still features the Boards of Canada channel, but not the other way around. Maybe they forgot to wipe the Hell Interface featured channels.

Still it's weird to cut ties between both of their aliases?

They were there the last week, I'm sure because I checked all the BoC related pages during my monthly routine inspection xD.

Looks like they have started a kind of countdown.

It's just my opinion. They are progressively removing stuff which will ultimately lead to a new release or eternal radio silence.
