My resolution is just to make more music.
I busted out my first live set on Torq/Xponent today. It comprised of shitty pop songs because I'm getting used to mixing for mainstream bar atmosphere, but it was so fun blending and adding little effects here and there. Lot's of mistakes...beat matching weren't quite right for some of the tracks and I even pulled down the fader to a song when I meant to pull up the tempo (oops!) But, all in all it was cool as shit!
Can't wait to start performing sets live.

agh, the instructions weren't kidding when it said "use an oven mitt when operating the quesadilla-maker"!
this thing's like the damn cornballer!
EDIT: and the quesodilla sucked too! good thing this was a gift!

Totally random (guess that's what this is for), but it's still disgusting that Jack Kevorkian was imprisoned for 8 years before he died last year. Unbelievable. Take a good look at society folks, it's full of controlling people who want to decide your fate and then call you things like "selfish" or a "murderer" for taking control of your own life. Don't forget it.
