Hmmm, it's on Youtube, so there'll be visuals too? That's cool with me, anything from a RFTD video to my personal dream of a live show is gonna be great. Can't wait!

....but...but...does that mean... VIDEO? :o

^-- beat to that. But really, I'm just kind of stirring it. It'll be awesome with or without. And also, youtube live streams can be ripped relatively easily. Somebody out there is gonna do it, you just know that.

I know I want to watch it live, but I'm pretty sure I have to go into work at like 2:30 my time, so I won't be there to watch. So I do want a rip, even if it may be against BoC's wishes. I don't know.

I'd have no qualms about listening to it. besides, as someone said before, it can be a bit of a pain to get up 3 times to flip and change the record first time round.. I think I'll do my first few on CD, then vinyl from that point on.

And yeah, it's totally gonna get ripped tonight. that's cool, the digital files'll be about soon, and I'm stoked for Warp that this didn't leak sooner, considering how long it's been pressed.

Have to say this is the first time I've ever done a soundcheck for listening to recorded music, let alone youtube stream. Everything has to be perfect. BASS

I'm glad this is all finally coming to an end. It was fun in the beginning, and still is to some degree, but now i am wearily sick of the hype train and all the riff raff that has come and attached itself to this journey.. I kind of want to go back to a time when everyone (outside of the likes of here, what I call true fans) wasn't talking about boc simply due to this release. For me, if you didn't know about something happening with boc within a few days of RSD and are just now finding out they are releasing a new album then please just go away as quickly as you swarmed in.

I would like something sooner than that, but probably not realistic

If they merely wanted to mass-broadcast audio, there are probably better alternatives for that than Youtube, so I'm guessing there are going to be visuals.

So, how does the youtube live broadcast work? Is it record-able?

I'm sure it is possible but I'm not informed about which tools to use for that. Dunno if youtube-dl supports it. I'm sure someone will record it.
