my copy still hasn't arrived here and i preordered it as soon as it was available to preorder i am never ordering any 'new' music online any more and definitely not getting anything from bleep ever again.

not only will my copy probably have a tear i will probably shed a tear too if it comes like this

i really hate how people who aren't even that in to boc got the vinyl on the release date from the shops, and a couple people i know have it on vinyl already because i had been going on about how good the new album is.

Wow, I'm really glad that I didn't pre order through Bleep (which I totally would've done, if I'd had the cash at the time) and just picked this up from Rhino Records today, though because I didn't get out to the shop until today, I missed out on a poster. Having said that, I really feel for you guys. I just went though the EXACT same thing with Captured Tracks and Wild Nothing's new Empty Estate EP. Pre-ordered the 12", didnt receive a tracking number, or the album 'till a little over a month AFTER THE RELEASE DATE. At least you guys got responses from Bleep, I sent two emails that went unanswered, after I was told to email by the label on their Facebook page. It wasn't until I realized to check my paypal like a month after the ep actually dropped that I saw the tracking link for USPS. Come to find out that the 12" had just been mailed earlier that same week. I pre ordered and they didn't even MAIL it until a month after the actual release date. Oh no but it doesn't end there, once it finally arrived, I open it to find that the vinyl itself is of poor quality. Multiple warps on both sides (though oddly and thankfully enough they don't affect playback), uneven and jaggedly cut edges, and I swear it feels like its 110 grams. I was absolutely floored. So I guess the moral of my story is, as long as the album arrives safe and sound everything will be fine. This album is fantastically pressed and I'm assuming everyone has a digital version of TH to listen to, so just fuck it guys. It'll come when it does and it'll be awesome, though I totally understand and feel your consumer rage. However I do admit that these words will mean little to the people who are waiting and then receiving defective copies of the album. That is just totally irresponsible and infuriating...

well i received my BRC copies, and the artcard EU cd from an Australian place
but the vinyl is.....many weeks off yet

In regards to the ripped vinyl sleeve:

Mine arrived with tears both top and bottom, and even the right sides of the inner sleeves were torn! (the sides that are left exposed inside the outer.) Two of the corners were also crushed.

You should email Bleep straight away as I did.

They have sent me new inner and outer sleeves no questions asked.

So, good customer service but absolutely appalling that they could let this happen.

here in Italy my CD still not arrive...i hope next week i'll be more lucky....btw amazon sent me vinyl in great shape and packadge, i don't know why the hell i made a pre-order of the CD through Bleep!!!

If my copy is damaged like yours, polar...I'm going to lose my shit. I'm not back home til Sunday and haven't asked my roommate if it showed up today. I spent today scouring record stores in downtown Toronto for Tomorrow's Harvest posters/swag..no such luck. Several stores had the vinyl, some had the CD. Might grab a CD copy before I skip town. But if my vinyl is torn...Bleep is in store for some much-deseved ranting

I guarantee you that they will replace anything that is damaged, no photo proof needed or sending in your copy or anything.

But yeah I was pissed to say the least when I found out mine was damaged.

Now here's hoping I get something extra as reparations *hint hint bleep*

My Bleep order also had the liner damage, but I've emailed Bleep to see if I can have it replaced.

I ordered from Amazon and that one came in (even though I thought the order never went through) but I've decided to not open it, and instead just save it as a mint unopened copy. Hopefully that one is not damaged inside as well :/

yea i've just visited their page over there again, its choc a bloc with negatives. used to Like that page, now no more. firstly the fact they've used this 'embargo' excuse doesnt wash with me. so record stores have it in law is it that all pre-ordering fans wont get it before they do to allow them a bit of time to make more money. thats complete utter BS. Secondly, not even the cop to include some promotional items like the stores. its almost a vicious circle, do we go to the indie store or to the bleep store. shit like this actually turns people off buying records now as they can smell the BS reeking from it.

i suspect they will try to recoup on this by offering some clever promo with BOCs next release, if its an EP or something. those who will buy from their local store will be left out this time. what gives...
