How come those fakes with the orange swirls have not had many listens? I mean, they're ok and certainly fooled a few for a second whereas mine has had way more but was poopoooed straight away.
Do BoC fans automatically assume fake and not listen out of principle?

I have listened to those a few times now since finding them as I uploaded mine.

Fuck. I really don't want a bad reputation on this forum. Again, I'm pretty disappointed. Damn. Whoever fucking gave away these tapes sucks.

I've actually put Magic Timeline in rotation - I don't care if it wasn't BoC, it's still great. The only other fake that has much play was Red Sky Night. I know there is bad feels around that song, but it's just too damn good to ignore, imho.

Also this all escalated very quickly, so if the topic had dwelt on a few hours longer, more users would have heard the samples and picked out the fakes. There's not as much and intensively audience here anymore as most of the TH craze is over.

And I guess now we all have rips of these fakes, the you tubes will still not have many views.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Not got any bad feelings towards NEUROMUTE at all, but there is something fishy going on with the rips, I don't know. I said a while back that someone could've made these tapes up and sent them to the Goodwill store with the intention to cause all this commotion, but just seems like a massive effort just to troll Twoism and other forums. I'm disappointed but not surprised with the outcome. Oh well. Still got TH to keep me occupied.

I'm not so sure that whoever made these tapes and sent them to Goodwill had any malicious intent. Could've just been a hobby, or something, I don't know. In any case, it was still fun. The rips just got processed by iTunes, which I would assume changes the properties to when I got R35TT.

iTunes matching. I had to go through TapeTunes to put it in my library, to upload.

iTunes matching, which deals with METADATA, is what changed the audio from Stereo to Mono............riiiiiiigggghhhhhtttttttt

Just to sum up, for the record:

These files were not ripped from one cassette today. Full stop.
