What's most fascinating is that now this experience is starting to be referenced in discussions of quantum physics and here in the case of space exploration. One could even argue that such a sensation is the basis for all humanitarian thought and all humanitarian religions. (If everything is truly connected as a whole, then it makes a lot of sense that such an understanding could arise out of what one could refer to as very "separate" topics.)
It's true, a lot of this stuff is coalescing, seemingly bringing everything together.
However, I'm on the fence about spirituality and whether we are all connected or if this is simply a pipe dream instigated by drugs and religious experiences. One person said it best in the comments:
"This is a bunch of crap! nobody is connected. We are all seperate...and the universe is dead and doesn't even care."

Eh. I've always liked to be realistic but I think there's too much evidence just in plain every day life to suggest there is some kind of intelligence/impulse in nature rather than everything is absolute random chaos.
I don't like the duality between spiritual and scientific belief and I'm glad that's sort of breaking down because it's time to move on.
Even without humans and our ability to describe or at least attempt to describe the universe, there is the behavior of physics and chemistry in itself, which seems to disagree with absolute random chaos.
I won't believe in complete randomness when there is a chemical compound like DNA which can literally build and store information. I just think it suggests that our human capability to have mystical experiences and have feelings of interconnectedness has some real root in how we were wired and whatever the universe really is.

i think we are all connected in the sense that when our life begins we are all the same light. our upbringing and decisions play a role in how we become different over time. but at the core, we are all the same thing. thats why its a shame we have so much hate and greed. if everyone could become more loving and take care of one another, we wouldnt have all the problems we have today.

I think that we're connected, I believe anyone that has experimented with DMT (put universe in cannon, fire at brain) wouldn't disagree with that.
I think BoC specifically got me interested in trying psychedelics, it was something that had never interested me up until that point. I can remember the first time I heard MHTRTC and thinking that I finally understood.
All that being said, I have some very nice blotter stashed away for a hike whenever some new material is finally released.

I understand your doubts and I respect such an existential perspective, but neither religion nor drugs are necessary to see how interlinked our world is. Simply study ecology or biology or adaptive evolution. Physics and chemistry are also fascinating areas to study in this context.

Yes I agree with this. I'm absolutely fascinated with physics and chemistry as well- but unfortunately limited in my mathematical capacity and therefore limited in what I can fully understand
I think both drug experiences and religious experiences (evidence seems to suggest that both phenomena occur in the same/similar faculties of the brain) are actually a result of this very real interconnectedness, and that these experiences are not the source of it. Nature built us so all the strange wisdom contained within it is in us

QFT! Even smoking green with TH can take me to very dark places - don't think I'd dare to trip with it. None of the other albums have this effect on me though

yeah, I agree where was some very intense moments, for ex. during White Cyclosa I thought my heart gonna jump out of my chest lol, and some beautiful moments, like Reach For The Dead, you just feel a strong connection to the band, like, man those guys really understand what you'r feeling when you'r trippin
basically it helped me to look at some tracks from other perspective, some tracks sound very different!

My experiences tell me that opiates and one very important non-poppy derivative opioid greatly enhance this music.

Shrooms "ruined" Reach for the Dead for me.
I never noticed how the first minute (feeling like an eternity) was practically the same droning note. I needed to open it up in a spectrum to check to see if it was actually or not.

This was a realisation that left me in a chronic state of peaceful mindedness.
One thing that has not yet been explained by science is the fact that fundamental laws exist in the universe allowing for evolution to take place all too much akin to life having an intelligent driving force behind it. As someone who used to be an atheist I now think that solid atheism is denial that existence its self is a phenomena and that no matter how far science traces the origins of the universe there will always be the question 'how did these laws come to be' that is virtually unanswerable.

Well, the first minute or so of 'Music is Math' is the same drone as well, with a minimal drum beat on top. Simplicity isn't inherently bad.

it was weird, I'd had it in my head for a few years how I wanted to experience the "new" BoC, whatever it was going to be. As an adult, responsible psychedelic usage is a situation where all the stars have to align perfectly or its not happening at all.
In the run up to TH, I had the music, the substance and the venue lined up...then it decided to rain that day (TH release date-ish) - as I listened to the live stream of the new album a week before, I realized this is not how I wanted to experience this album, so it was for the best that the weather didn't cooperate when I wanted it to.
I loved TH but I hope the next release is more agreeable to an outdoors psychedelic experience out in nature to enjoy it, but I know that it's not up to me, and I'll do my best to appreciate whatever they end up doing.

viewing artwork of geogaddi while being under influence of psylocybine was a fantastic thing to do.
little pleasant details hidden here or there, like a psylocybine mushroom cap, or simple smile...
geogaddi = geometry + god + di (maybe 'signature 'of brothers)
unforgettable experience, everything sounded same, but different. these sounds had geometric shapes, they were like real, like talking in their own language. listening to this album was kinda like viewing through the caleidoscope.
