Blue Prince. For all the people on here like diving into rabbit holes puzzling out connections... could be right up your street

On a weekly basis I still play Call of Duty 1 and United Offensive online. There are still teams/lans/cups on it.

Other than that I'm playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and A Link to the Past atm.

Currently replaying The Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time with my 4 year old son.

He is really enjoying it, but at some parts I can notice he thinks it's kinda scary, but he says he's not scared.
I'm now kinda questioning if I should keep on playing it, but he's really liking it so far.

A reaction that I like to call "scoolry", where things are pretty scary but too cool to look away or turn it off. I've seen kids react the same way to snow and disney movies. I personally think its healthy for kids to be a bit scared as long as its obvious its all make-believe (you are not scared). It must be so cool to play good games with yer boy like that!

Finished Stasis and its sequel Bone Totem. Excellently disgusting sci-fi horror point-and-click. Thoroughly recommend.

Having a blast playing Baldurs Gate 3 with my girlfriend. First DND adjecent thing i've picked up, and it's really interesting so far. Story pretty goddamn cool too.

Been playing a lot of Straimium Immortaly, which places kind like like Defender meets The Binding Of Isaac on shrooms. Tough as nails but very rewarding and fun.

And I also picked up Parasite Eve again on my psx handheld. Still want to finish it some day.

I recently inherited a PS5. I haven't had a gaming console in decades. I don't have any games for it right now, so I'd love some suggestions. I've never been a hardcore gamer, so super intense and time consuming games probably won't work for me. Otherwise, as long as it's good, I don't really care what type of game it is.

No Parades for Dead Spies. An enthralling read through and through, set in a gorgeously designed city. A no-brainer for enjoyers of narrative RPGs. I would say it lives up to Disco Elysium, even surpassing it at times, but that might be an unpopular take with the drama behind its studio into account.

That one left me a mixed aftertaste. It's the story I took issue with, too predictable and quirky for its own sake... as is usually the case with DnD. It grates on me a mite. Still a damn fine experience.

Maybe try Signalis. Its not very long but very nice and contains a lot of conet project shortwave station audio stuffs. Kind of Silent Hill in space. Very cool art style.

If you're really strapped for time I would recommend a roguelike like The Binding Of Isaac or Crypt of the Necrodancer. A run takes about 15 minutes, and when you're dead you're done (but still eager to pick it back up again later)

Heard good things about this one. Just downloaded it. It’s a top down action adventure game. Lots of inspiration from Castlevania and TLoZ. Gothic horror vibes so I’m excited to check it out.

This one is interesting… from the website:

“UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games.

These are NOT minigames or microgames! Although the size of each game varies, every one is a complete experience.

AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE - According to the story of UFO 50, the games were all created by a fictional 80s video game company that was obscure but ahead of its time. Some games are sequels to other games in the collection and various characters appear in multiple titles as part of a shared continuity.”
