I think it'd be cool to hear everything that was submitted, there is so much awesome music to be had here that the selection of what fits on a comp just doesn't do it justice.
I second that!

It is a beauty. It has been on heavy rotation for me. I really think eveyone will be pleased with the songs included and the flawless mix. Cheers.

Too bad I didn't make it.
But I guess that's no shame, with all the talented artists here..
Cheers to everybody who made it.
I'm so looking forward to this!

Good to hear. I'm interested to see what Aesth. meant by it being difficult to make it flow cohesively.

I hope it's before the end of May but it's risky to say when it's ready as I don't want to give false hope again. The songs are at Ochre now and will be mastered in early May. The website is going strong but not yet finished...

You'll only get a total picture when you hear OoT3 and all the songs which didn't make it. A lot of songs which didn't make it were good but didn't fit the flow. I had more difficulties to find the best possible flow this time. Perhaps we'll go for a bpm rate with OoT4

I'm sure, and the BPM rate is an excellent idea.

It could be a good idea, but it may also kill some of the dynamism and variety OoT is rich with. I say we should be cautious with such a new development, remembering that our artists create music many different ways, and this might be a barrier or obstacle to some of them. just a consideration.

That or it could be a catalyst for somebody who doesn't usually write at the chosen speed... depends on the individual's creative process really.

One vote here for Reggaeton.

Woo, I'm excited! Looking forward to hearing the mix. I was gnawing my fingers for the last few days as I couldn't get access to the forum for some reason, but I could see the index page with the tantalising "list of artists..."

I could be down with that BPM idea, if it meant increased chances of being included on the album.

If you can write Reggaeton, you should be set.
