I just watched Donnie Darko.

Damn. I'm not gonna sleep tonight I think!

Long time since I've been so frightened watching a movie...

One of my favourites, good choice Fredd-E.

yeah i saw donnie darko and i really didnot like it at all....it seemed boring and cliche....its not the most groundbreaking movie that it is played out to be...go buy paris texas, eraserhead,mulholland drive, lost in translation, 28 days later, etc etc etc

all of those are infinitely better..better soundtracks as well....all donnie had was some hit singles by echo and joy division..pfft

Fight Club, and Donnie Darko... 2 of my faves. Especially like the whole 80s atmosphere in Darko. I miss those years.....

P.S. Revolt Of The Zombies is a truely great movie. When that guy is being followed through the swamp I almost shat my pants. And then when he puts his fist on his chest....WOAH BABY I CAME IN MY PANTS.

Who said anything about groundbreaking? And what is boring and cliché in Donnie Darko? The movies you mentioned are very good but not that innovative as you think.

back on track now, speaking of Jake Gylenhaal (don't think I spelled that right), I saw the ending of Brokeback Mountain and it looked pretty good. Sad but good... I think I'll go rent it and watch the whole thing. Also kind of want to see "Barfly" again.... "To all my friends!!!"

I think awards has a lot to do with the quality of the film.Don`t get me wrong, just 89% of all the films getting an award is just....nothing special.
