Mate, we know there is an album, the real question is "WHEN is next?"

At this point, I'd be fine if they said "OK, the album will come out January 17th 2024, we are just waiting on logistics and circumstances outside of our control" without any slow reveal or arg.

Really wouldn't surprise me at all if we are still waiting a year from now, Although i have high hopes for this autumn

To continue believing there is no album at this point would be extremally silly, this twitter post alone is another piece of evidence in a sea of teases. BoC would NOT be highlighting tweets like this if there was no album. They literally linked to their social media saying something like "check here for announcements" . You really gonna say that and then announce nothing ever? Of all the artists on Warp, BoC are by far the most desired by fans to make a comeback. I truly believe that if BoC had hung it up, Warp themselves would have told us, but that's beside the point. All of what I've just said, plus MDG's direct confirmation, PLUS the stuff I've probably missed.

We've been getting constant teasers since 2019, which in that time covid happened. It's not a far cry to assume BoC may have been gearing up for a 2021 release but delayed it due to Warp reanalyzing how they promote artists during a pandemic. That's pure speculation, as this thread requires. After 4 years of teasers, I think it's coming to a head, don't forget time works differently for BoC, 4 years to them may just be a blip.

I truly believe the wait may be over soon.. Latest I would assume is mid next year, but I feel it'll be even sooner than that.

The material of the original (bought at Drastic Plastic in 1999) MTHRTC album cover is amazing like its been around years already -- the reissue has dorky shiny corners and running hands over the faces of the cover you can tell they got close but its not the same paper.

Don't forget we know nothing about who runs the BoC social accounts.

Going by the industry in general, it's not uncommon for these accounts to be run by media teams.

That's even more true for a band on one of the biggest electronic music labels ever (many would say the biggest).

And even further likely for a band as publicity averse as BoC.

People might say they wouldn't get a media team to do it, but remember the entire Tomorrow's Harvest ARG promo stuff was outsourced to media team and BoC just gave the approval.

I could be wrong of course, I do personally think it's probably run by them but it's far, far from definite in my opinion.

My apologies it was Twist & Shout records on Colfax in Denver -- there is a Drastic Plastic I know but its in Omaha NE not WA state.
