Been slowly picking up physical equipment and started producing music exclusively with it because I got sick of sitting at a computer messing about with a DAW for hours on end. This is one of the few tracks I've nearly finished:

Really nice. Love the spring reverb on the drum machine.

Loving the diversity and quality of the tracks here atm! Listened to all of you guys who've posted recently and digged a lot.
Here's my new track, back to some sort of mid-2000s downtempo type of thing:

Thanks man. It's actually not a drum machine though. Just samples I've loaded into the MPC.

I'm still thinking of tweaking this tune, everything is turning out boardsy at the moment lol.
Its melancholic, nostalgic, 3/4 time, 2/3 speed.
There are 6 oscillators in the main synth strings... each with slightly different settings, stacked in duo mode.
Could you like it on soundcloud if you like it?
xx

Seeying as I haven't posted a flamingo pudding track for over 10 pages, and it doesn't matter if I post this or not anyway, I think I'll throw this thread a bone.

I doń't know if its finished or not but I really like it so far. Its really catchy and nostalgic. It also makes me rethink what the term flamingo pudding stands for.
edit: I might call this finished, what do you guys think?

hey m8s,
I've released a new tape that I'm rather proud of, so I'd love if ya'll took a minute to check this guy out:
"Cleveland, OH-based living room tinkerer The National Park Service has been quietly releasing great music since 2011 at a pace that's impressive to say the least (last I checked there were 15 or so releases on his bandcamp page), but apart from last year's collaborative and split releases with Squanto, I Was Flying is his first album to be given the proper physical release it deserves. It's just in time, too - I Was Flying is perfect autumn music, full of warm guitar loops that shift and settle like leaves making their way towards the ground. Put it in your walkman and take it for a walk through the park with a cup of coffee. The seventh official release from Lily Tapes & Discs. Released in an edition of 50 pro-dubbed chrome tapes. Packaged with full-color j-cards, numbered and assembled by hand here at LTD Headquarters."
