I just read this thread for the first time in months and was unpleasantly surprised. I initially came here for my love for BoC music and was keen to connect with likeminded people. Life is pretty good, out in nature a lot, lots of exercising. Every once in a while I check the BoC insta to see if there has been any activity and skip the nonesense uttered here. I now have reached a point where I do not identify with most people on this forum anymore, there are no interesting thoughts or information shared, and frankly I got better things to do in life. Thanks to everyone who shared the love: you know who you are. This is me signing off. See you on the other side.

Speaking of exercising, my holy trinity of BoC songs for working out: Happy Cycling, 1969, and Come Dust.

Same with me. This forum is nothing but bickering and fighting. Honestly, it's exhausting trying to commute with folks on here (not everyone here is like that, but the majority does seems to be.)

I like my colors dark and saturated, so colors like Crimson, Emerald, Royal Purple, the kinda colors emo kids used to love back in the day.

I think this forum is generally a place of civilized discussion, occasionally straying from the path but usually moderated back to the topic in a timely manner. Lord knows there is much worse. As stated before I have abandoned social media and forums with only 2 exceptions, Twoism being one.

I share this sentiment. After the owner of the only other forum I frequented gave up the ghost and retired the forum I mostly come here due to denial that close-knit internet communities still exist. I'm old, I work my 40hrs/wk, my bones are turning to green dust, and social prospects for me are slim to nil at this point. All my favorite artists are either dead or pushing retirement and If I can find the energy in the day to listen to a BoC album all the way through in one sitting then that's a good enough day for me, but I don't have the energy anymore to worry about new releases anymore, and I kinda think Mike & Marcus feel similarly, even if they're still making music.

Amen. I've been here since 2012(as TaoTapeTao, but had to make a new account because my college email and login was lost) and unfortunately feel the same way.

After nearly twelve years I’m really just tired of waiting on them to get their shit together. Seriously. I wish I could remain enthusiastic at this point but I’m kind of over it. Sorry not sorry. I feel like they’ve made it pretty clear at this point nothing is happening. I don’t have any faith in “mdg” either. I think the whole thing is toast. I think they get a kick out of making you guys sweat too.
