Warp main page has a bar on the right showing "New Warp Releases" and it now shows Warp20 (Box Set) out 28th September, when it was originally meant to be shipped to "arrive by 25th September"
i've emailed them to ask for clarification on this, and shall keep everyone posted.

my first guess/reaction is they're selling the overstock after they ship the pre-orders? after the radiohead discbox went on pre-order and shipped, extras were sold from the official store for a week until they ran out. hopefully that's what this means - the leftovers'll be up for grabs the 28th, but we'll still get it a few days earlier.

i dunno...they did the same thing with the recent Black Dog release of We Are Sheffield EP. was originally meant to be released on bleep for 3rd August, then pushed the release date back to August 31st....even though it was selling everywhere else from 3rd August. i had to wait because i had already placed my order through bleep.
i hope your theory is the case though, it won't be nice to have to wait even longer than originally thought.

the reason i think so is because we got that confirmation email so recently. I think they're nearing finishing up + shipping, and they would have let us know in that reminder e-mail if it'd be late.
here's hoping =)

Any chance you could fix it?

i still haven't had a reply from bleep, and they're normally very good with responding to support queries.
i'm gonna give it until tomorrow. if i've not had a reply, i'm gonna send another email

probably never. if it was going to leak, it would've happened soon after The Wire did the review. it seems that they were the only publication to get hold of this, and in any case it seems like they only got the Chosen and Recreated discs. These are being released separately from the box set, and it would explain why the review doesn't mention anything about the unreleased tracks, or the dj set, or the locked groove records.

well, i've still heard nothing back from Bleep Support staff...and to make matters worse the Warp website now has
5th October as the release date
first it's "delivered to arrive by 25th September"
then it's "Released 28th September"
now it's "Released 5th October"
Edit:
It's 28th September
on the good news, there's some information there on what's gonna be on one of the locked-groove loops records....quite a few BoC tracks there, and one beginning "Spir...."
i don't know of a BoC track that begins "Spir..."

Perhaps they've shortened "Focus on the Spiral" to "Spiral"?
Something off Closes Vol.1? Gulp. Surely not...?

Yeah, noticed that as well. There is indeed no released BoC tune that begins with those letters...nor from the old tunes tapes or old flash site.
If this is a new bit, I'll take a week-long wait...just a shame that the Minnesota twoism gathering has to be postponed/canceled.

The angle of that photo wasn't exactly accidental, was it?

let's not get too excited over this possible new "Spir.." track
remember, this is a photo of one of the (Infinite) records, which are locked-groove sets. there'll be maybe 4 or 8 bars worth of material on each locked groove (at a guess)
