Men may be more sex driven, but I think women are actually more power-driven.
Just because women are less sex-DRIVEN, though, doesn't mean they are less sexual.

I have to admit, I am tremendously, soul-achingly, crushingly jealous of girls. The truth is, I just think they're better than guys. And I don't want to waste any more of my life trying to be a guy. It sucks and I can do better. I make an awesome girl.
Say whatever the hell you want to that, that's the truth. I'm changing teams.

So like, you mean just switching your mindset or actually undergoing medical procedures?

Well, to be clear, you can't just undergo a medical procedure whenever you want. To transition in the more common sense of the word is a long, usually months-to-years-long process which involves a lot of things - usually therapy, usually hormone replacement, occasionally other things, and it's different and unique for every person whose gender doesn't fit with their body. In other words, even if I decided, "Gosh, I want a vagina" (which I do), I can't just haul off and find myself a surgeon. For obvious reasons, most places require written recommendations by psychoanalysts vouching for the client, which usually involves living publicly as your gender for a year or more. It's part of how medical and psychological professionals ensure that the person getting the surgery is actually going to benefit from the changes made to their body, rather than decide in a year that they've made a terrible mistake.

Most girls who post in electronic music places keep it downlow or just are ready to handle playing along in the boys sandbox. We can take it. But really I don't think anyone can seriously ask why women don't post in these places more often after reading this thread. In fact I see this question come up every so often in different places like GS, Muffs, Elektron & seriously some of the responses here are why.
But on a more serious note.. yeah breasts. They're awesome. I don't know anyone who doesn't like em.. including straight girls and gay boys. We should all be forced to look at them for 15 minutes a day. It lowers blood pressure. I'm positive it has to do with a deep subconscious aspect of our infancy, they are food, warmth, love, and a circle within a circle, the golden ratio. I'm convinced if they had pictures of breasts and kittens up all over the UN world peace would ensue. Looking at them just makes you not want to kill things.
tits or gtfo.

Well if you do decide to go through this process may you be the next Wendy Carlos. Truly I wish you the best Turquoise.

I've just read this whole thread. And any man who would remove his penis so he can become a woman is a disgrace to the male race. I'm sorry, but I said it. If you were meant to be a woman, you would have came out of the womb that way. But you were born a man, so deal with it.
Being homosexual is one thing, and I'm totally okay with that. But come on. Cutting off your penis? It's just not right.

Frankly I don't even know how to respond to you. But I'm going to temper my response and assume you are uneducated. Quite frankly your statement is just flat out misogynistic "A disgrace to the 'male race'" There is NO SUCH THING as a male race. I know Cole doesn't require my defense and this is a public space where you are free to say what you wish but it isn't called for. Why call him a disgrace? It took real courage for him to admit to how he's really feeling and this is your response? Why not just leave it alone if you disagree? Or approach it differently and just say Wow that seems really extreme, that seems a very hard decision to make, one I'm glad I don't have to, or whatever?
I remember a time when I was young and I felt not that it was a disgrace but a very difficult problem that I was rather judgmental about. I finally acknowledged that my judgment came from a place of having defeated the overwhelming desire to be male and so somehow these other people had failed where I had succeeded. I finally realized it was no different than how straight people viewed gay people in many circumstances or god forbid "ex" gays viewed practicing gays. As if it was something we could choose our way out of or should even bother to fight our way out of. I grant that it is far more of a challenge to change what hormones and biology have dictated but it is still the same premise. People shouldn't have to "overcome" their essential selves baring it causing someone else harm. And the idea that we are binary gendered beings is a lie. My hope is that one day that surgery isn't so difficult painful and expensive. I would think you might want to examine where your bias comes from.
I know we are essentially anonymous here but it still comes down to if you can't say something nice or supportive why say anything at all? At a minimum your post is unkind, but actually it's just fucking offensive.

dp.....
Not sure what to say to this. I mean, I get what you're saying and all. Personally, I cringe at the thought of cutting off my dick and would hope it never happens to me, ever.
However, what right do you have to label someone else's personal decision, one of no impact to your life, a disgrace to the "male race"? And since when is "male" a race?
