Is this thread is very similar to that Waco incident already?2020k wrote:Sometimes I think that the people affiliated with BoC are just giving us small bits of information so we don't go mental and create a Waco, Texas sized incident where we all gang up outside their house and demand an album.
Thanks for the info, mgd! I'd kill for IABPOITC vinyl.
I just heard!nick47 wrote:If I heard BoC were holed up in their studio and weren't sending out their new album, starting a cult and shit, Id totally go all ATF on them. Not burn the place down, but break in and take it of course.

And Aphex (apparently went through a divorce and hasn't released anything so his wife doesn't get any cash.)
These future releases, and BOC's, are reasons to wait for things.

mdg never posted cryptic messages.Helios wrote:The truth of the matter is that the people who do know, are not posting cryptic messages on forums.
In 2008 he only confirmed there was a new album coming without mentioning a date at all. It wasn't until late 2009 that he supposedly said it will be out in 2010.Helios wrote:Seriously, why do people get excited when MDG posts? He clearly hasn't proven he is "in the know" and has spoken about their new album for years.
BOC hasn't given any release date, so technically...mechanismj wrote:Once artists get hooked up with labels and such, they lose some creative control. Especially in the area of release dates.

3. after a month everyone wears the new album out
4. after a year of discussing the same crap we'll be abck at bitching there's no new boc in sight

Oh no I wasn't implying IDM dying DxSeeya_Later wrote:IDM dying? Whatever. Something better will replace it. In fact "IDM" hasn't been cool since the 90's.
Music today is fine. A BoC release would be very welcome in today's musical climate.
