Amazing Gif!

Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

This is Twoism's collective reaction as each week passes without a new-album announcement...

I'm still counting on the notion that the longer the wait, the bigger it's going to be. At least I hope so. Anyone else on the same boat?

I wish so badly that you're right. What about concerts in many countries? With a new EP of 30 tracks? And another LP with the Old Tunes in high quality, and other unkown old tunes? That would be so amazing! But I think we're getting our hopes a bit too high…

Quote from the down tempo duo interview--> Mike: We also started working on an acoustic version of Music Has the Right to Children years ago and it still exists.

BY THE BEARD OF ZEUS!!! As much as id love to hear a brand new original album, how sweet would it be to hear some accoustic MHTRTC. Id do a little dance if only they would release a few of those accoustic tracks... Unlikely though :-(

Purely hypothetical daydreaming here:

Imagine initially releasing an album purely through radio waves? BoC tell you to tune into to certain frequencies in order to hear new tracks, you have to find your own means of tuning in and recording them onto a medium - would give the album a really grainy, eerie quality - artwork is then distributed through certain publications which they buy the ad space for, you choose you're favourite artwork OR they release a genuine artwork but its not got their name on it and you have to find out whether its genuine or not using clues they give.

I was also thinking you could incorporate some strange puzzle/riddle game in order to find these prizes (music and artwork). You have to solve clues in order to progress through the game and gain prizes.. a massive geocash game!

...then eventually they just release it in standard formats for all who want a high quality genuine specimin.

It's a hypothesis for why they have been silent for so long, constructing a mega maze of clues and deceptions in order to get the new music.

It's not a genuine suggestion for the silence - im just daydreaming on the idea haha

There's a good chance the previous albums will see a vinyl reissue upon the release of the next album - this is definitely something the band have been talking about.[/quote]
