The posters are terrifying. I think in the past they’ve approached the references in their music with a degree of almost cold ambivalence: cults, abuse of power, freedom of speech, corruption, religious authority, they were referencing things from the past.
With all the evil currently happening across the world, I think we might be about to get an “angry” dystopic Boards of Canada album like Geogaddi

The tapes give off a completely different vibe than those posters. Maybe a fan thing?

Looks like it could be a spiritual successor to Tomorrow’s Harvest, as in the ”tomorrow” is now and humanity is beginning to reap what it’s been sowing.

That's a pretty distinct difference though. Faceless just means "fading obscure memories", pupilless is full-on demonic, psychotic delirium. There are actual blood splatters too

when i first saw I thought the coffee ads had a brick with some rune, now I realize its a coffee cup and yeah thats just normal advertising. Funny though

The splatters, and colors in general, remind me of a liquid light show from the 60s

If these posters are legitimately connected to Boards, it'd be a change in tone from Tomorrow's Harvest, but not totally out of step with an increasingly deranged sense of humor that we've seen from them over the past few years. Remember the AI-generated melting face James Brown video, the inverted Hell Interface profile picture, and the piano video? I for one and am excited to see a more psychotic and twisted side of BoC come unleashed. Would be very fitting for the post-TH world we live in.
