It's because this year will be exactly 20 years after 22-AUG-1996.
Preach it. People seem to forget that.

I feel it will come and go, I don't think we are in for anything new for a little while, despite the fact this wait has been uncomfortable enough knowing that they are back in action again after the eight year break. Or is that only how I read their absence?

Anyway aren't we still due a new website followed by 'news of what they are doing' ?

I think the reason we are not getting much out of them is that time genuinely used to have the perception of moving much slower. That eight year gap was only worth five years in 1998, do you get me ?
Fucking inflation )-:

Which is why it's so fitting for the release of a 20 year retrospective BoC Set.

It is just a resting place for the cosecha page really. Every boards of canada album promo exists on stash.warp and cosecha is basically the promotional site for tomorrow's harvest. Nice profile pic btw (-:

Though it's different, this one says "Question:" and when you write something it replies Thank you.

That is true. I don't look too much in to it but It would be interesting to find out why they changed it. I doubt submissions actually go anywhere but maybe they keep a log of it, who knows?
If you type in the cosecha code does it still lead you to a promo video ?

some small pretty insignificant changes, the hell interface youtube avatar has changed and the Boards of Canada Youtube Avatar has changed to the same one as the soundcloud avatar, clutching at straws....

I would say that was more significant than one would think it is, well done for noticing it. They used all three of those, if my memory serves me well, in the Tomorrow's Harvest breadcrumb trail in 2013. Changing the photographs might indicate preparation for other uses at some point (i.e new material).

I like the whole twoism hive-mind thing going on. Let's face it, this message board is solely responsible for figuring everything out the last time through collective thinking oriented at one goal.

I like that cosecha-transmisiones.com is a generalized enough name that it could be re-used for whatever's next.

It's funny that Xentrix64 joined Twoism specifically to say that the Harvest Ritual entry had disappeared and hasn't made a single other post yet. It's a tinfoil hatty way of getting people off the trail without invoking mdg, who is just here to say no - maybe because the answer isn't "no", but rather "not yet"

Hello Twoism,

New member here. I'm looking for all the references of Aug 22nd here. I follow this forum and i've seen the change in cosecha-transmisiones.
Well, i've found something interesting: if you open the dev tools of your browser (Chrome, FF, Safari, etc) and you start to type something random numbers are shown in the console. What is that? If someone has an idea...

Example:

Ok, i figured it out: it's the ASCII code of the character that you're typing.
Curious, someone forgot to mute that log.

I think that was already brought up in some other thread in the recent past, but I guess it's good to have it here too.

Did the artwork change for the BoC video playlist on Youtube change as well? I thought it used to be TH related. It says the playlist hasn't been updated in a year but the art seems different than how I remember it being.
