Think I might be working with Cupz soon, IDK. Depends on how far we collab.

you say that like cheesy synth pop is bad.

anyway I commented.
Cheers man, cheesy synth pop isn't bad, it's more of a guilty pleasure I guess

I like it man, it's just enough cents out of tune to give that pleasantly sour taste in the ears :D

Great stuff, and not at all cheesy ;)

Here's something recent I've been working on:

After rendering the song, I decided to stretch the audio by pitch shifting it down by a tritone. I like the results. I hope you do too. :)

Another moody piece from you. I particular like it from 1:30 when that melancholic pad comes in. The glitchy perc is distracting in places but it's a nice track.

Cupz that is my favourite track that I've heard from you recently. It should be cheesy with the panpipes & Euro rave kick/ snare combo but somwhow it isn't.
That said, when the drums go 4/4 at 1:30 (for the awakening I presume  ), it doesn't quite work with the rest.

Cupz I absolutely love the chord changes in this one, I mean if the track was more of an emotional gut punch this could be a truly great track, but right now that was just kinda fun.

747, my main issue with the track is how long it is. By the 3 minute mark you weren't bringing in anything new, just cycling already introduced ideas.
It's great in the atmosphere, and the flat sounding percussion even works some how, but I felt that after 3:30 or so I was just hearing stuff being copy/pasted.

no posts because i'm trying to only post complete tracks for a change but i'm having real issues. i keep getting solid 1m30s into a track and then being like, uh, what next. this never used to be an issue what with 6 minute tracks with many different sections. halp1111

Thanks GH and TTK! When I get some time, I'll work on it some more. I'll try to find something new to add after the 3 min mark. Now that I listen to it, after what u said, I can definitely see the issue.
Thanks again! :D

Nice work lyst! It has a good atmosphere to it. I like the little voice sound that goes throughout the song.

Cupz, your link doesn't work. Did u remove the song?

Felt a bit guilty after seeing my 4-track collecting dust ever since I had bought a digital interface and decided to break it out again and use it for an all-analog recording session.
