I found an old tape in my home "studio" and it didn't seem to work. I fiddled around with it on my four-track for a while, and eventually I found this on it.
I don't know what the hell it is, but it creeps me out.
I suspect it's something to do with different tape speeds, as I have a few different machines. One side seems to be really fast, the other side really slow. But I prefer the explanation that it is simply a ghost.

Wow nice experimental stuff. Would work great when played punishingly loud. Its very tense, the percussion really rapatapa, I like that. I was waiting for some drumrolling prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt.
I made this today

Thanks Cupz.
That's a really woozy kind of blissed out track you posted. Don't know why it reminds me of something the Avalanches would do, cos it's not really like them. I like it. B)

Deleted blank post at authors request. Just realised I've also deleted a post by Lyst too. Buggery bollocks! That'll teach me doing mod work from my phone rather than sat at my laptop.
Apologies Lyst, you were saying something about not collaborating?

That is interesting to me indeed. Kind of related here is this file, for recently and free I got a Sony TC-105 tape player that had a critical sporadic speed control problem, and it came with a reel of tape too. I recorded it passing through a Moog phaser effect and tossed the player and tape into the trash can.
Here is the tape
RIP malfunctioning Sony TC-105

Whats truly strange about it is that tape had the rudimentary oldie songs for what would become a Manson Family song, Always is Always Forever and also I'm So Tired which appears to have been jacked by the Beatles for the White Album.

Hey guys! ఉదయం is an early morning improvisation I did a few days ago on Octatrack, Monotribe, and Volca Keys. Disjointed beats and analogue blips galore.

Today this happened. It sounds like ghosts. I was using a synth which cost me £10.
