Holy shit. That's crazy.

Btw also nothing here... Waiting for my CD ):
Japanese release arrived in 4 days... so I'm a bit disappointed.
I'm sorry... What? I live in Japan and am still awaiting my order.
I had an order from Beatink. Arrived in 4 days, from Japan to Europe.
Still nothing about my Bleep order, Europe to Europe.
That is all.
My vinyl and t-shirt took 9 days (7 mail days) to go almost 7000km's.

Fyi: this is Belgium - one week late.

Now it's an excruciating wait from work+band rehearsel to see the state of the record. :(
fwiw, my copy came in mint condition

Enoy it man! Mine still didn't arrive...

I'm really curious what the bottleneck of all these delays are. Must have been at Bleep HQ or the transport from there to the mailcompany. Can't be much further away from the source, right?

Finally came in. Condition was fine, which is surprising. Only 6 days late. [/img]

Seems ridiculous that yourself and Fredd-E (until today) have been waiting so long for your preorders. You would think they would make extra sure you both get yours quick, given your roles in the community.

Assuming my re-sent order gets here okay, I will have a spare vinyl if you need it.

That's crazy you still don't have a tracking number. I thought it was bad when mine was sent two days after the release date.

Yeah..in fact, now that I think about it, every email I got from Bleep (letting me know Reach for the Dead MP3 was available, or Tomorrow's Harvest, or the FLAC/WAV release) was a day late. They're usually pretty fast at responding to emails though so I should have some more info soon enough.

I got those emails about a day late myself. I'm surprised they haven't already responded. It's weird how some customers are getting more screwed over than the rest.

Finally arrived today in New Zealand. No tears or scratches etc. It sounds so nice on vinyl.

How nice of you to say Ian. That would have been difficult because I assume the people at Warp don't know my personal name. Besides that I really think the whole fanbase(those who pre-ordered) should have been rewarded.

I honestly think the people at Warp made a huge mistake.. perhaps they thought that the fans of the first hour already got their treat with the whole specially crafted viral marketing trip and the share of twoism.org in it? Intended or not but this has been a huge treat for me anyhow. I can't speak for the whole fanbase but I'm sure a lot agree with me on that.
This whole RSD month will be etched in my memory forever! The record that popped up and the whole mysterious campaign that followed. On top of that the Lake Dolores listeningparty - by being able to be there "live" at the other side of the globe was very memorable - I still taste the sand - :) (again a big thank you to tonx!)

Despite it being a treat, they also "used" their fanbase for this unique viral marketing campaign where most of the traffic towards media was done by us and ventilated via 2020k & the bocpages throughout the world. This whole hype generated a lot of traffic towards the new album and I'm convinced in some way it also lifted the sales too.

The least they could've done was sending out the pre-orders a day or 2 ahead of the not so hardcore fans who ordered their album later. Packing some goodies with that to me was more of a commitment to the fans of which they probably know are true obsessive collectors(most of them). Albeit it 1 sticker.. the costs of this would have been peanuts for Warp/Bleep.

Now I'm writing this all down again I'm starting to feel frustrated and powerless because I once again realise I have placed an order of 89 euros which would have been cheaper and faster to get locally or even at Amazon..

"Thank you very much for you recent pre-order for Boards Of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest. This product will ship to reach you for the release date of 10th June 2013. " sigh

That's good news. Finally. :)

My re-sent package got here too, the day after they sent it. That's what normally happens. I guess we'll never really know quite what happened with all the delayed and missing orders.

Trust BoC to keep up the air of mystery.

I have just received my replacement package too! Well, so far just the t shirts, hopefully the vinyl later today. It says that they were dispatched yesterday. I really don't believe that the postal service is to blame for the other stuff not arriving, I doubt they were ever sent in the first place.

Well my replacement for the damaged vinyl arrived. They gave me two copies. If that wasn't an accident then that is pretty sweet of them, seeing as they originally said they were only sending out a replacement sleeve :)

The vinyl is probably shipped to them sealed, so chances are they just sent them as they were as they would probably end up with crap loads of vinyl there with no covers lol.

At least things are getting sorted, slowly :)

True, but still I essentially have three copies of the album now which is pretty cool.

Yeah it looks like they are working hard to salvage their reputation right now, especially in regards to the quality of what they are shipping out.

Anybody here not able to order a copy? I got an extra wrapped CD that Norman Records shipped to me accidentally.

Side note: Although it got here late too like my Bleep order, the guy at Norman Records was fantastic to work with--a real star compared to the Bleep support. I cancelled my order right away because I didn't know it was the same as the Bleep copy (art card fiasco). He refunded my money, but still shipped it out by accident, but let me keep it since it would be too expensive to post back. That kind of service it unheard of these days, and since I already have 3 other copies of this album, I'd like to pay it forward, and donate one to someone in need. Please, no one who already has a physical copy.

PM me. Tell me an interesting story
