Not my favourite old tune but B04 is lovely. One of those atmosphere which give all its mystery to R35TT.

7.5/10 (but only relative to other board's tracks)
A sense of loss balanced and combined with a sense of keen fondness; very stripped back and and, similarly to farewell fire, an example of boards conveying emotion through a song very much based around a simple keyboard progression.

ill say 7/10. reason being is that i really enjoyed it when i first heard it. and still think its good. but really don't feel the need to go back for multiple listens. it actually has been a while since ive heard the track, so ill give it another listen later and re evaluate my opinion of the track. but overall its good.

Its alright as an ambient track, but it lacks a bit, it could have something more.

I've always found this track pretty underwhelming, tbh. A Few Old Tunes is filled with tracks that are ok, but don't really do much to impress me. They just meander along until they finish. King of Carnival is a great example of that. Not a bad track, but certainly not one that tickles my fancy.

Rated against all BoC tracks, it gets a 2/10.

I'm pretty sure that at some point Sixtyten was also my fav song. Great example of perfect use of samples.
8/10.

I always thought the bass line in the back of this track was really cool, almost like a spiritual successor to Roygbiv. I like the sample too with the cheap bitcrush effect on it. Kinda wish there was a little bit more going on, but it's just a filler/segway track so I can forgive that.

Whitewater's warbly synths and samples drive the Boards nostalgia home. It's so introspective, beautiful and lush. It's so difficult to try to putmy thoughts about it into words. Hard 9.5/10 for me. Love BoC Maxima.

This has always been one of my favorites from the Random 35 Tracks Tape ... that main melody makes me feel like my head is spinning in circles, Exorcist-style, but out of this carnival-esque joy and not Satanic possession.

This is a 10/10 for me ... it also has a trademark BoC-ness to it, and I dig the slight variations in the percussion.

7/10 Really interesting textures going on here and I feel that I am being transported to quite an intense landscape with this one.

Would like it wayyyy more if it looped properly. If it's an artistic decision, it ain't a good one. Would give it a 5/10 but everything after the 4:20 is lush so an extra 2 points. Still the worst track on Music... though, in my opinion.

julie and candy. 10/10. possibly their most defining track, so layered and deep, yet the same repetitious pattern just kind of repeats over and over, so melancholy and memory filled. about as close to perfect as it gets.

For the longest time, this was my favorite BoC track. And while I now consider a few others its equal (Kiteracer 2, Sunshine Recorder, Slow This Bird Down to name a few), it's still well entrenched in my BoC pantheon. I love absolutely everything about this one.

10/10 - BoC at their brilliant best.

This track is so sad and is what the entire album should have sounded like and is a copy of that guy that was on WATMM. I have his cd he sold and i talked to him and he said he only sold two, and he said when he created a song called Urit he had it online and he said voices told him to take it down. And this right before BoC released TH. But yeah, Semena Mertvykh really is the best song on TH and i'll give it a 10/10. Semena should have been first, then come to dust.

The only place i'll ever be is in heaven so for this i'll say, rate this one.     i wach my back with the eye's facing me.
