Among the best of TH. I remember someone on here describing it as ROYGBIV's sad uncle, which is a great way to describe it! Sounds nostalgic and wistful, longing for the good old days of the past, but being bitter about the present.

Those backing synths. Oooohhff. Such a lovely melody. The samples tie off the eeriness and themes the whole album brought to that point, and leaves it off on a somewhat sweeter note that leaves you satisfied (even if it is some creepy recordings of kids talking about something I personally don't care about). Japan is lucky though, I wish I could have heard that as the true last track the first time I listened to Geogaddi.

A good insight in to what some of their tracks are before being further crafted in to something they feel is worthy of an album. The differences in this one to its geogaddi counterpart are what makes it though.

Infinite lines of colourful sev... oh wait um.

awesome track, really has that old school boc vibe to it. theres just so much color and sensation in the track, it really does have an orange feeling to it. the track seems very alive and friendly.

7 4 7! A monolith of a track, and up there with some of my all time favorite BoC tracks. They went full MBV on this one--so many gorgeous psychedelic layers to pick apart. The descending stepwise pad melody that comes in about halfway through is where things start to get really foreboding...

When Tomorrow's Harvest was announced, I was stoked out of my mind thinking it would be a whole BoC album in the vein of Seven Forty Seven's noisy obliteration of humanity. Needless to say, expectation leads to disappointment, but TH is a great album in its own right. Here's hoping that the BoC set will one day offer up at least 5 other wall of sound tracks : )

I'll give it a 930,250,603,195,600,666,259,070 out of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

Echus: A sublime track, what I'd give to hear it live or a proper recording of it. I remember being baked listening to it on top of high sand dunes overlooking the lights of perranporth in Cornwall, proper good listening experience 8.7 / 10

10/10.

I think I've made it obvious by now how much I love the old tunes, but I really do adore this track. I can't quite figure out the emotion it conveys, but something about the gorgeous washy chords and the playful melody line at the end always manages to put a huge smile on my face.

You know the vocal sample is lifted from an mbv track, right?

I am not even joking, listen to the very end fadeout of 'off your face'

I'm bad at rating things on a ten-point scale, so I'm just going to be a Pavlovian and rate on a binary scale of 1 or 0. 1 means I dig it, 0 means I don't dig it. This track gets a 1 because it has a groovy bass and some festive melodies. It sounds like a song to play on Christmas morning.

I'll drop one of my favorites here, because it's a track I love but I have no idea what the popular opinion of it is : Ataronchronon

A beautiful little vignette, the type of Boards track that I love - a snapshot of a feeling as opposed to a fully realised track. Haunting, airy and beautifully simple. 7/10

surfaise (trade winds remix)

6.5/10

the track starts off as quite possibly the coolest first 30 seconds to any boc song. but the song just kind of stays a bit too slow for my taste, and never really seems to go anywhere. when the track does begin to speed up, its not really my cup of tea. i do enjoy the track, just feel like it starts off incredible and then just kind of stays put.

While I usually hate tracks this short for not being longer and being fully realized, this track feels complete. It's like it was refined to just one strong feeling of nostalgia without any fat to trim. Really just a beautiful track. 8/10

A strangely self contradicting track emotionally. Despite its chirpy overtones there are really moments of sadness and melancholy in the chords. Production is on point and the instrumental textures are very cute and minimal.

the track is one of a kind which is impressive. the timing makes it feel as though it should be accompanied with some sort of video, it almost sounds like a machine

The perfect closer to Geogaddi. Although it's kind of an oxymoron, it's like ominous closure. It gives you time to digest what you've just gone through and meditate on it for a bit.

Nova Scotia Robots is one of the best BoC tracks. I wish it were longer. Best closing track of any Boards of Canada album by far, 1/1.
