Definition: "Typically American thing" or "typically American thing to do".
Usage: Often used in Spain to criticize, mock, or describe cultural imports from the U.S. (e.g., "That movie is a total americanada").
Context: It can refer to films, behaviors, or cultural habits viewed as excessive, superficial, or distinctly American.

Second album on a row of them using Spanish words, and as a Spanish speaker it's very weird for me to see that, I didn't really understood why they used it on TH. I assume there is a reason though, I just don't know what.
Tomorrow’s Harvest’s imagery is associated with the California desert and Spanish is spoken everywhere throughout southern California.

FYI Tape 05 is not appearing on Inferno.

I love that we are 16 pages deep for an album we won't hear for over a month.

On what basis did they conclude that? I saw no evidence coming from hearing the record, or speaking with the label, or speaking with the artists.

I’m standing by the feeling that Tape 05 is not on the album because it is hard to imagine the music sequenced as the fifth track (despite having the same run time and the title being tape 05) - it feels too attached to the VHS tape in particular.

This could be completely wrong.

At the same time, the Introit video shows the stone circle hexagon spinning into place, framed by candles, just like in Tape 05, so it’s all thematically connected.

And my fingers are crossed that we're going to see some kind of interesting side material--previously unreleased things, or new tracks to go with Tape 05 in an EP--or something via the subscription thing on their website or otherwise.

Yes, or the holy grail of a Japanese bonus track!

I really feel like Tape 05 was its own thing for the video.

Yoooo! Welcome back, mang!

One thought I had regarding the nuclear family image update was that, there being more people, means it is pointing to not just one family, but the entire family of Earth. Given some of the visuals we have seen I think it is a guess as good as any.

Feels like 2013 a bit, haha. I remember in the time it would take me to read a page of posts and try to sort out what they were talking about, another page would be up and a whole new wild series of shit was going on, lol.

Glad to see so many good vibes though. It's been nice to see and experience.

This doesn't relate 100 percent, but enough. Many of you American Gen Xers here in this BOC forum probably already know this movie because it hits all the shit hard. If you don't, please do what you need to do to see it.

Being the most spoken language in the Americas doesn't hurt either, I imagine. And if I was talking about today's USA from an alternate perspective, I could easily see myself using Spanish.

Apologies if I'm wrong on this...but is this not a new picture? :?:

I found it on Bleep when I clicked on the link to the main BoC page for all Bleep stuff.

I just took a spin thru photos of the band on Bocpages but I didn't see this one. And to my recollection, I've never seen a pic of Mike in a baseball cap! Perhaps that's why they finally did an official cap? :P Anyhoo, love the vibes on this pic if it is indeed new! Definitely in line with the Inferno artstyle.
Nah. Been around quite a while. I used it about 9-10 years ago in one of the promo clips for the Twoism meets here in Dorset, UK.

I can’t imagine they have more info than anybody else at this stage. I assume it is lazy journalism, just a quick scan of the tracklist and “oh there’s no track called Tape 05 on the album” and not thinking it could be Track 5, which is of similar length and also presumably the last track of side one or first track of side two.

Then again, maybe it is not on the album, but they should provide a source or a copy of a Warp press release to confirm that statement.

Tape 05 clearly has a lead-in to the next track at the end of it, so I will eat my beanie if it's not "Father and Son"
