Why did they choose the San Francisco skyline? Why does it look like it's disappearing? I know you all love to dismiss bible references since Mike famously denied any religious affiliation, but you can't deny all the mentions of evil and hell throughout their work.

It doesn't have to be literal though. A lot of artists use biblical interpretations and references, and I don't see anyone in the threads denying the very obvious connections they draw. Idk what the Brothers believe in, and don't exactly care, but either way I don't think their affiliations prevent from working with any religious concepts

I'm not sure where it's going. I'm sure an obvious layer is about the aftermath of the cold war. How everything is psychological now. General anxiety and depression is just becoming the new baseline. Not a healthy forecast for society. But hang in there, and find something good to believe in.

Actually, maybe it's about the collapse of the traditional nuclear family, and the abandonment of Christianity by the youth. I think we messed up by selfishly misinterpreting eternal life with a personal afterlife, when it surely means you can achieve eternity through generations of your own children. I'm starting to think Sick Times is referring to a disease of the mind and spirit, with New Seeds being constantly, urgently shot into the void of a tissue.

I'm so sick of your intolerance and spamming. I don't know why mods aren't working on this, this is like the umpteenth time that you've posted something reactionary with the intent to upset other people.

You are a bigot, you have no idea what you're talking about, you don't live in America, so stop posting this shit. I was in Boston yesterday and Pride was literally just people being nice and hanging out around the city. I walked around the city for 10 miles, and saw none of this shit Sam Hyde is talking about.

And the nerve to post such hateful shit during Pride Month? Tokenizing and corporatism aside, it is important to other people. Show some respect.

And again, mods, members, Arvy, the post has absolutely nothing to do with the topic or conversation. Stop the spam

Banned for a symbolic month and asked the mods to discuss if that ban should be longer. Zero tolerance from me on Anti-LGBTQIA propaganda.

Please DM ME if you see behavior like this. Better yet DM me on Twitter or IG. Those apps are glued to my hip -- Twoism is not.

And in addition to a DM always report the post so it gets flagged for all mods.

Thanks 2020k and Fredd-E, duly noted!

I just remembered Tomorrow's Harvest came out two days before my birthday and that was the best early bday present I could've asked for. I remember giving it a full listen in this really neat wetlands place that also had desert terrain, just lying in the sand soaking in the whole thing.

The feeling I got from the first listen never really went away, the bros have a way of doing that with their work

PREFACE: If this gets me banned, then that's fine.

While i don't really care much for sam hyde these days (earlier youtube sketch stuff was pretty good up to world peace), Arvy's video got me thinking. Can you really listen to and process all of the cryptic cult references in BOC's music and turn around and in the same breath say that most of this modern LGBTQ stuff is not cult-like?
Now I don't have anything against gays and lesbians, but when there's sort of a whole "If you're not for us 100% you're against us and the most evil thing ever" as shown with the trans crowd, as well as pushing the whole "trans/queer kids" thing you can't look at it and not see it as some form of sly indoctrination akin to what most cult groups do? I could go on and on.... anyways, seeya later.

Let me guess, you're "just asking questions"?

Being trans does NOT equate to being a cult member, don't even fucking insinuate that. As someone finding themselves in the LGTBQ umbrella, this is exactly why I struggle to even bring it up to most. Let's not open this can of worms and negate the last few post or so please and STAY ON TOPIC!

IN the entire BoC discography nothing beats TH in terms of cohesiveness. The theme is set in stone and it really allows you to travel a lot more in your head than anything else they've put out. It's an underrated gem.

Yet no one can figure it out. Very sad. I just wish that instead of the hogwash surface layer theories put out there people really put in the effort to figure this one out track by track and not just the album as a whole. Each track as it's story.

It's easy to be shallow and say collapse is about the collapse of society but no one can really tell you what the track is really about and why it's the way that it is and what it's trying to accomplish.

It's not even easy to think anything out of transmissiones Ferox. But that track keeps me awake at times just trying to figure it out.

Like reading the bible as a whole yet not ever taking the time to read into every verse and its underlying meaning.
