Today, for the first time, I listened to the album in its palindrome sequence. MASTERPIECE.

What is the order for that exactly?

May even be an understatement... might as well be a key to the universe itself

Yeah wow. I can't even really articulate why, but it's almost like an entirely new record. The pacing is different in such a great way. So good.

Some personal favorite moments on the album:

Cold Earth: The multitracked monosynth lead that gives way to the sampled chords at the end
Sick Times: Those harmonically dense chords in front of the big bloomy pad reverb throughout
Come To Dust: Gritty underlying beginning "middle eastern" sounding sample

I have a feeling they went hog wild and bought a lot of the old popular 80's samplers like the Ensoniq Mirage, Akai s900, Etc for this album. Lots of low bit rate sampling artifacts throughout

Yeah, that cover art resonates on a very succinct level during California's current (sick) times. Scary stuff.

It's not just current, it's just like that here in California.

Listened to this album on 45 RPM not too long ago. Whole other album peeking beneath the surface.
