Not a huge TH fan, but this is certainly one of the better tracks on the album. Captures the desolate feel well.

9/10, one of the best endings of a BoC album/compilation, even though I'm not so crazy about Old Tunes No. 2. Thanks for reminding me of it.

Love the hard hitting drums and weird synth mandolin, certainly one of their most unique sounding pieces. Don't find myself super compelled to listen to it often, though. 7/10.

Even though it's short, I enjoy the sound of it.

9/10 - The sample re-used later on seven forty seven is one of the nicest ever created by human hands.

9/10. The movement that happens in the bass/pad really morphs the mood a couple of times in that track.

Has a weird pattern structure but that doesn't make it bad. Such a beautiful track that I always come back to. 9/10

The Devil Is In The Details
Breaking the pattern here just to talk about Jacquard Causeway for a second. I agree in that it has a unique structure for BoC, something we haven't really heard before. It almost sounds like it could have been played entirely live into a tape-loop or a hardware looper of some description as each layer just builds with each new phase of the track. They introduce themselves (on their first repeat) deep into the left or right channel before being thrown up into the mix overhead.
Anyway, Devil is In the Details is a 6-7/10 (compared to other BoC as everything would be 10/10 compared to all other music) for me, really interesting track but not something I find myself listening to often. Really interesting sounds, actually the one I was thinking of earlier in another thread that seems to have aspects or recreations of the Dawn Chorus radio phenomena implanted into it.

10/10 i find all their music really visual, but this track elicits really clear images for me and that's pretty rare for me cuz im not the best at holding clear images in my mind

First time listening to the remix in full. It's alright, might take me a bit to grow in me but it sounds pretty.

9/10, always loved this track and I appreciate how it takes so long to build up. If this song gave instant gratification (with a beat that kicked in right away) I don't think I would appreciate it as much. Like the album as a whole, it's steeped in apocalyptic atmosphere.

Better than the EP version, and one of the better tracks off their (imo) best offering. The melody sounds more playful here, more akin to a children's TV show.
