I just got the latest Warp newsletter email thing. There's a link to the Tape 05 video at the bottom but absolutely no information about it

I'm so happy y'all. I'm still riding the high. I wept as I listened to it for the first time yesterday. I'm so grateful to be here and to have the chance to experience this.

That braille doesn’t translate to anything, the first letter is T but the next few characters don’t exist. It’s not comprehensible in standard braille at least.

Love reading all these investigative clues and assumptions. It’s why we all keep checking in every few hours or so to catch up incase we miss a secret reveal.
You guys do an amazing job doing the digging.

I don't buy the "Tape 05 means 5th album" thing which a lot of people seem to have accepted as fact.

It's one track, not an album, and why would they refer to their albums as tapes? Especially when thet have literally been sending out video tapes. I think there's more to it, related to the VHSs - no idea what, though.

The Braille-ish symbols have been on Warp newsletter emails since the start of the year, probably nothing of note there.

So, with regards to RSD, as a store that participates in it, I can say that we have NO info on any release...trust me, I have had my eye on our inbox religiously since there was a ruffle in the peacock feathers. What I mean by this is simply that we have had ZERO information from WARP or its distribution about anything incoming.

This isn’t to say nothing will happen tomorrow, it is simply to say, as a shop who has stocked and sold many WARP releases over the years, there seems to be no imminent physical release for tomorrow's date that we can tell.

There is obviously still potential for some online activity. Given everyone's hopes are up due to events of the past, albeit 13 RSD's ago, the BoC bro's may be tempted to do something to butter the BoC fans bread and keep the hype going... ultimately we shall have to wait and see.

I mean if the first part of the marketing campaign was a load of tapes being sent out then it seems logical that 'Tape 05' refers to them, right? Maybe they only put out the video because they'd expected the actual Tape 05 to be played by now and uploaded and it was all taking too long?
