6 and a half years since an album, 5 and a half years since an EP... I'm positive.Rodheh wrote:You sure about that?hexagon son wrote:There will not be another BoC album.
TCH finished it all off nicely. Dayvan Cowboy was on MTV, I think they've had enough of the whole project, IMO.

Don't forget about the track Seven Forty Seven. That was released Fall '09, not too long ago.
It has been said before, but they will probably release re-vamped old stuff similar to this. Who knows, maybe they have been done with a new album for quite some time now, but have still-pending legal/copyright issues with some of their samples.

As Mike Vennart once sang - 'It's my tail and I'll chase it if I want to'.
I don't think they're done. Not by a long shot.
And I'm equally positive about that.
Incidentally, I think I've mentioned this before, but if you think we have a long time to wait between albums - go speak to fans of the The Blue Nile (another Scottish band incidentally). Four albums in 28 years and still a going concern. 1983, 1989, 1996 and 2004. You do the maths. Sorry - 'math'.
Anyway. Opinions are great aren't they?!?

I was thinking of mentioning that.Waterbagel wrote:pink floyd took seven years between momentary lapse of reason ('87) and division bell! ('94)
What's a better thing to say though is that Black Sabbath is releasing a new album next year - WITH Ozzy in the band.
So, these sorts of things happen. Bands make music. They stop. They often come back sometime later. The nearly 6 years it has been is a long time, yes, however it doesn't mean BoC will never come back, especially when some bands take more than 15 years off.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

HA! "Over a month", that's great. If only everyone knew...
Sound familiar?
For the record, I dont blame mdg at all, dont kill the messenger.
