I love the song Terminator by Metalheads aka Goldie and I decided to sample it, even though im usually against sampling music I listen to on regular basis. This time I went against this notion, and also added a bit of "i only said" by mbv.

I like how it turned out, i can listen to these loops for ages. I also did another thing in this one, that i'd like to explore further - i didnt care about mixing at all, no compression, just flat lined the kick and i love how it turned out. No mastering whatsoever.

What do you guys think about this? I guess it could distort badly on certain sound systems, perhaps on suboffers, but it doesnt on mine. It has the perfect amout of distortion, like it hits the spot.

We have a horrible radio at my workplace, that we put on max volume, because its a loud enviroment (CNC machinepark), and it distorts kicks in every song to the extreme, but it inspired me to explore this, as i love shoegaze, and it has the same aesthetics in some aspects, if you add the sound of the machines operating in the background (i know, im probably crazy for saying this lmao)

i like it. it's a little hard to hear. reminds me a lot of 90s drum and bass type stuff.

Context:

Made a beat from some of your sounds, I really like it. I called it "linear" for some reason. Great sampling material, really.

I quite like the sampling you did of dana and Alvin's, it has a neat vibe to it, kinda cosmic like Delltron's tunes.
